Social Work Supervision
At IYK, supervision is the practice of supporting one another to take care of ourselves and each other, to become the best versions of ourselves so that we can support others with the same. Our supervision is committed to being confidential, collaborative, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and embodying our vision for more community care.
Supervision with IYK is also rooted in our name, Faith in Resistance. We will actively engage in discussion and support you with implementing strategies and tools in your personal practice as well as your therapeutic practice, to accept, understand, process and resist systems of oppression that are causing all of us more harm.
Many of our therapists are fully licensed social workers with an immense amount of diverse work and life experiences, and we are eager to support others with doing this challenging work. We work with limited licensed social workers, fully licensed social workers, or individuals looking for guidance and support without a professional requirement for supervision. We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you wherever you are at in your professional work.
